次の朝、めんこいなはまぶしい光に起こされました。
深い森の先には真っ白な世界が広がっていました。
まぶしくて、とてもまぶしくてよく見えません。
だんだんと目がなれてきました。
めんこいなは雪をはじめてみました。

はじめはおっかなびっくりでした。でも、
雪のうえを飛びはねるのが楽しくなってきました。
少し落ち着いて遠くをみたら同じように跳ねているどうぶつがいました。
体ぜんたいが真っ白などうぶつなので雪にまぎれてよく見えません。
めんこいなはちょっとこわかったけれども近づいてみることにしました。
白いしっぽのことが聞きたかったから。
